The centrifugal sifter or the rotary sifter, works on the principle of centrifugal force, the force pushes the material from one end of the material to other end of the basket, while this movement is taking place the material is being sieved. The machine uses a normal induction motor instead of a vibration motor, connected to a shaft inside the mesh basket which rotates at a particular RPM.
No, the centrifugal sifter does not screen liquid material or products with higher moisture content. The centrifugal sifter is an ideal machine for products with lower bulk density or which would cause lot of dusting.
The operation and maintenance of the Sivtek Roto Sifter® is very easy and user friendly, the mesh backet can easy be removed just by loosening of few bolts, there are no specific set of tools required to remove or inspect the mesh basket, augur or deblinding arrangements.
There are three different deblinding arrangements available to unclog or clean the mesh basket, like deblinding arrangement with brush, rubber, and air. These are the most efficient and widely used deblinding techniques for improving the efficiency and reducing product loss.
The Galaxy Sivtek roto sifter is capable to screening material of moisture content of not more than 20%, if the moisture content of the product is more than there are chances choking, and other failure. The oversize percentage that the machine is capable to separate is 10%.
There are various meshes available for the centrifugal sifter namely Rotary Basket, Polymer mesh, perforated mesh, and perforated support mesh. These meshes are used depending upon the size of the particle, moisture content and the customer requirement.
